Upper School Mathematics Teacher
Gerstell Academy is seeking an Upper School Mathematics Teacher.

Gerstell Academy is seeking an inspiring, engaging, and encouraging Mathematics teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year, with leadership experience and the capacity to teach Upper School Mathematics (grades 9 through 12). Possible courses include: Algebra 1, Geometry, Intermediate Algebra, Algebra 2, Advanced Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Probability and Statistics, and Calculus (both at the standard and AP levels). Duties will include teaching the Mission, Motto, Principles and Attributes, teaching mathematics courses, curriculum mapping, serving as a student advisor, and other duties as assigned or needed to develop school programs. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics. Prior teaching experience and certification is preferred. The desired candidate will be able to teach Mathematics as an academic course, and as a vehicle for leadership education, critical thinking skills, and character development.
