Job Description:
Loyola Blakefield’s Visual Arts Department is seeking an energetic, passionate, and creative candidate to serve as an Upper School Art Teacher for grades 9 - 12. The position involves teaching History of Art classes and possibly studio classes. Experience with architecture and 3- dimensional design would be very desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach a full course load; 5 classes and proctoring
- Participate in co-curricular, service and retreat opportunities with students
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators
- Other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in art, design, or related field and three years of successful teaching or related job experience at the middle school or high school level.
