POSITION SUMMARY:
The University Recruitment Coordinator Temp will work closely with the University Relations & Diversity Recruitment team to support spring recruitment activities for our Early Talent Program (interns and co-ops). This is a critical role for the team with management of our virtual and in-person events, including logistics, collateral, scheduling and communications. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative while driving consistency and efficiencies, with a keen eye for detail, plus an appreciation for organization and communication. The Coordinator will report to the Director of University Relations and Diversity Recruiting. This role is a hybrid role, located in our NYC office.
Length of assignment: 6 months, starting ASAP.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Manage university and diversity virtual and in-person events such as career fairs, information sessions, diversity conferences, including:
Event planning & registration with school/organization outreach
Tracking details in our event management tool
Enlisting volunteers and ensuring appropriate coverage
Logistics support with collateral and communication to volunteers
Follow up communication to attendees
Schedule virtual and in person candidate interviews and support our Early Talent Program
Communicate details to candidates and interviewers
Organize and host in person interviewing days
Prep and organize materials for summer program
Serve as a point of contact to students & candidates, educational institutions, partner organizations, and internal business stakeholders
Support leadership in developing presentations, reports, and other materials to measure ROI and program success
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in university recruiting, talent acquisition, inclusion & diversity, human resources or administrative support
Demonstrated accountability for owning processes such as calendar management, scheduling interviews, event logistics, program management
Proven organization skills with the ability to deliver high quality work on time
Working under tight deadlines, preferably in a fast paced university recruiting cycle or high volume recruiting capacity
Developing and maintaining internal/external relationships, communicating with a variety of individuals with different backgrounds and levels of experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and sense of urgency
Detail- and quality-oriented
Advanced in Microsoft Office, Excel and recruiting systems (Workday experience a plus)
Positive, professional attitude and presence
Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00
