Description
As a Universal Banker 2 at M&F Bank, you will experience the perfect blend of handling a clients banking needs from sales to service. The Universal Banker 2 processes and initiates various financial transactions for the bank customers and assists the Branch Manager in the development of new business through referrals in efforts to increase profitability within the designated market area. The Universal Banker 2 acts in a supervisory capacity when the Branch Manager is out of the office. The UB2 position will also have a loan goal and will assist customers with Masterlines, auto loans and Home Equity Lines of Credit.
The Universal Banker 2 provides high quality customer service by meeting the needs of customers in an efficient and friendly manner while both servicing transactions and handling needs assessment and new account openings. The associate must be enthusiastic about developing and maintain relationships with customers in order to achieve banking and individual sales goals, loan goals and objectives. Encourage clients to use self-service banking solutions including ATMs, on-line, and mobile banking to enhance their service experience.
Qualifications
Knowledge: Associates degree or equivalent in business or related field is required.
Required Experience: A minimum of 36 months of financial institution experience with a strong emphasis on accurate cash handling, demonstrated proactive sales, and opening new accounts. A minimum of 12 months of demonstrated experience processing consumer loans is also required. Supervisory experience a plus.
