We are now accepting applications for a Universal Banker (Floater)! This position will be based at our Weslaco Banking Center and serve primarily the Weslaco, Elsa, and Harlingen area.

Summary
As a Universal Bankeryou would be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, opening new accounts, and processing a variety of teller transactions. You would also play a key role in educating customers about Rio Bank's products and services and recommending products as appropriate.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. (hours vary)
Saturdays, 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (on a rotation basis)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service to our customers
- Process a variety of retail and commercial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and check cashing
- Balance cash drawer daily
- Assist in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cash
- Open and close accounts and perform account maintenance
- Process check orders, debit cards, wire transfers, and stop payments.
- Promote the bank's products and services
- Answer customer inquiries in a helpful manner and refer customers to to other departments as needed
- Process ATM, Debit and ACH disputes
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures
- Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) or more years of experience in a customer service role
- Two (2) years cash handling experience in a financial institution or combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver license.

- Working knowledge of banking rules and regulations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability
