Provides general nursing care to residents by performing the following duties:
Essential Key Job Responsibilities- Routine scheduling for floor staff
- Works with staff to help fill open shifts
- Managing employee timecards
- Maintain chart order by filing and thinning of charts
- Ordering of labs
- Preparation of physician rounds
- Completing “MDS” schedule
- Maintaining correct admission, discharge and transfer packets
- Maintaining weekly report sheets
- Preparing and uploading the Payroll Based Journal to CMS
- Managing posting staffing hours daily
- Coordinate organization of the Vulnerable Adult documentation
- Update and disperse group sheets
- Record and file Advanced Beneficiary Notice
- Gather data for psychotropic meds and behaviors for Pharmacist
Preferred
- Preferred CNA, Health Unit Coordinator or Licensed Practical Nurse
