SalaryArbor Rose is a 62 apartment Assisted Living Facility in New Britain, CT. Established under the will executed by Augustus Jerome, Jerome Home/Arbor Rose is a privately-owned, not-for-profit organization. We are a progressive, nursing community with a highly competent and caring staff. Established in 1932, our multi levels include, RCH and SNF including short-term rehab and hospice.
We are currently interviewing for Full and Part-time Unit Attendant to work on our Assisted Living neighborhoods. The hours would be are flexible for days and evenings, including weekends. The Unit Attendant will perform non-clinical tasks related to resident care.
We have several online programs currently being used by our staff:
- Matrix is used as our EMR.
- Inovalon is our on-line scheduling program. At the click of a button, you can request time off or request to pick up a shift. You can also send email/text notification to request coverage of an open shift.
- Relias is our on-line education program. Classes are assigned via email for you to complete in the allotted time at your own pace.
- Paylocity is our online payroll system. We are all direct deposit and you are able to view your check right online. In addition, we communicate to staff through this system.
- Greet and escort residents to their room.
- Introduce residents to his/her roommate, if any, and other residents and personnel as appropriate.
- Make resident comfortable (i.e. get water, etc.). Inventory and mark the resident’s personal possessions as instructed.
- Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with resident centered care, and as instructed by your supervisors.
- Answer call bells and any alarms promptly. Provide help for non-clinical requests
- Assist in transporting residents to/from appointments, activity and social programs, etc., as necessary.
- Prepare for new admissions (prepare room, supplies, etc…)
- Prepare residents for meals (i.e., wash hands, comb hair, raise bed, position tables, place clothing protectors, take to/from dining room, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned by your Charge Nurse
