Job Summary
Napleton Downtown Chevrolet Buick GMC Hyundai Genesis is seeking a Parts Counterperson to join our team on a full-time basis and comes with Union Benefits. This role requires applied automotive knowledge in order to maintain inventory and specify parts available for customer purchase. Responsibilities include fulfilling phone, customer, and technician orders. Process and sell orders with accuracy. Fast pace work environment with a company is growing exponentially. Compensation & Benefits
We are offering a salary of $42,500 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience and time in job roll. Weekly direct deposit, . In addition, this role also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, and vacation time.
Responsibilities
• Assist in identifying and locating parts
• Maintain organizational cleanliness and orderliness of parts department
• Enters, processes customer orders for parts and accessories accurately and efficiently
• Track parts ordered and follow up with customers and service department
• Maintain accurate records of inventories and shipments, including keeping computerized inventory systems up to date
• Lead monthly physical inventory cycles
• Perform other duties as assigned by parts director
Requirements
• At least two years of automotive Parts Counterperson experience. GM and Hyundai a plus, but not required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
