Uniforms Lead (Bell Gardens, CA.)

Parkwest Bicycle Casino is looking for a Uniform Department Lead to join our team! 

We are looking for a Uniform Department Lead that will enjoy meeting and working with a wide range of people. In this position you will oversee the administration and distribution of Uniforms within the organization. 

1. Coordinating uniform orders, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring compliance with uniform policies, and managing the overall uniform program.
2. Work closely with various departments to meet uniform needs and ensures a professional and consistent appearance across the organization.
3. Maintain accurate records of uniform inventory levels.
4. Monitor and track uniform orders, deliveries, and returns.
5. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and sufficient uniform stock.
6. Process uniform requests from various departments and employees.
7. Verify orders for accuracy, including sizes, quantities, and specifications.
8. Communicate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders.
9. Organize and oversee the distribution of uniforms to employees.
10. Establish and manage a system for collecting and tracking returned uniforms.
11. Ensure the proper disposal or recycling of damaged or worn-out uniforms.
12. Generate regular reports on uniform inventory, distribution, and related metrics.
13. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of uniform-related activities.
14. Provide information for budget planning related to uniform expenses.
15. Address and resolve non-compliance issues in collaboration with HR and management.
16. Maintain team member lockers by keeping them available and functioning for the team members. Monitors usage.
17. Perform all clerical duties in the department; i.e. orders supplies, uniforms, etc.
18. Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
19. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
20. Must be available to work ANY given shift in a 24/7 industry.
21. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent. Additional education or certification in supply chain management or a related field is a plus.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar or related environment.
• Proven experience in uniform management or a related field.
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively in english. Bilingual in other languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or google sheets.
• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.

Physical and mental requirements

• Must be able to work in office "onsite position" (this is not a remote position).
• Must be able to sit, bend, stand, push, carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
