SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Uniform Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of the uniform room. Will oversee uniform distribution process for all newly hired Team Members, to include fitting, ordering as needed, and distributing the appropriate number of items.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee uniform distribution process for all newly hired and transferring Team Members, to include fitting, ordering as needed, and distributing the appropriate number of items signatures for deduction and uniform care paperwork.
• Manages procedure for all uniformed terminated employees. Includes pricing uniforms received by employee, when employee was terminated, if the uniform was returned and determine damages.
• Provide exceptional guest service to all Team Members.
• Create and maintain uniform room operations manual.
• Forecast supply and demand for uniforms and uniform supplies.
• Monitor quality of uniforms and determine if uniform needs to be retired from inventory and destroyed.
• Uses all the necessary equipment such as a sewing machine, iron and/or steam iron, scissors, rippers, rolling racks, and size dividers.
• Receive uniform items, unpacking and verifying shipments, and storing items appropriately. Record all order/ invoice information for record retention.
• Responsible for maintaining, stocking, and tracking inventory. Including ordering, re-ordering and retiring items when appropriate. Conduct monthly inventory.
• Design any Uniform needs and/or changes per department requests.
• Completes uniform alterations and repairs as needed.
• Order and label new garments.
• Organizes the room for garment handout and inventory tracking.
• Maintains a record of daily transactions.
• Record reports for quarterly expenses spent and uniform losses (retired and not returned).
• Provides quotes and recommendations for potential uniform changes. Review cost analysis of purchasing uniform items versus renting uniform items.
• Submits all invoices and requisitions for ordering new uniform items
• Other duties as assigned.

• Management abilities demonstrated in managing assigned duties.
• Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all Team Members
• Oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position.
• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft office products and ordering systems.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate applicable licensing.

LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals and internal controls. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively after groups of customers or employees of the organization.

MATH ABILITY
Ability to accomplish basic math to ensure proper inventory.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The work environment is also potentially smoky on the casino floor.
