Underwriting Analyst

Position Overview:

• All activities related to clearance of new and renewal submissions and processing bound accounts including (but not limited to): policy and endorsement issuance and booking, invoicing, client and/or broker contact and timely filing of account documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Policy and endorsement booking, invoicing, document issuance and electronic filing; broker/client contact for requisite documentation; account maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

• Five years Insurance Industry experience, preferred.
• Casualty or D&O / Financial Lines experience, a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; client-centered approach to job functions; proficiency in MS Office applications, ability, work with several underwriters, and work independently, ability to work in paperless environment.
• High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma) equivalent plus 5 years Insurance / Reinsurance underwriting or administration.
• A four year BA / BS Degree, considered an asset.

Pay Rate: $33.44 / hr.
