Summary:

Lake Mary location seeking licensed and experienced Underwriter for Back End processing. The Underwriter processes home changes and cancellations, creates accord forms/evidence of insurance and ensures applications/documents are received prior to submitting to carriers.  We represent over 50 carriers for personal lines insurance.

Remote position with 220 or 2044 license.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of property and casualty insurance in the state of Florida and be familiar with property insurance policies, coverage and guidelines
• Reviews files, collects missing documents, signatures and all requirements to complete and bind a policy
• Ensures all required documents are provided to process changes per carrier requirements
• Processes mortgage changes and processes changes to dwelling and other home coverages, adding and removing credits; processes cancellations

Minimum Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED 
• Have excellent technical and communication skills
• Have the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Superior organizational skills a must
