Equipment Operators operate construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors. Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches.

What You'll DoEquipment Operator Responsibilities
Inspect large equipment before and after use to ensure they are working properly
Load and unload cargo and move them to the appropriate storage area
Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment
Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs when necessary
Report needs for larger repairs to the appropriate parties
Equipment Operators Requirements
Class A CDL license required.
Knowledge of transmission and operation of telecommunications systems.
Ability to work overtime, depending on project goals.
Prefer 1-2 years in utility construction industry operating equipment utilized in overhead and underground construction with experience operating backhoes, excavators, skid steers.
Safety certifications are a plus; some safety certification training provided.
Ability to Travel - work is in Tri-Cities Washington
