Undergraduate or Graduate Electrical Engineering Intern

Provides support in one or more engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
- Departmental Support Applies engineering knowledge and gains experience in live application to design; applies engineering skills to appropriately support utility grid operations in day-to-day tasks; depending on area of specialization, may perform administrative, technical, or scientific tasks, such as performing powerflow studies or completing spreadsheets, in support of department assigned.
- Research and Analysis May perform research and analysis under general supervision. May gather qualitative or quantitative data and develop reports or spreadsheets.
- Internship Program Events May participate in company-sponsored internship activities.
Education/Experience/Certifications
- Currently an actively enrolled Undergraduate or Graduate student (recent HS graduate or GED accepted) in good standing and be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or be enrolled in a pre-engineering program); GPA of 2.5 or higher preferred.
- Some prior volunteer or work experience preferred.
- Requires a valid drivers license and a history of safe driving practices.

PGE supports hybrid flexible work arrangements; and will have a combination of in-the-office and working offsite. This individual will need to be located within 75 miles from job location and will need to work in-the-office with flexible work from home intermittently. However, these arrangements may change due to business needs or changes in responsibility.

Compensation Range:
$16.00 - $36.00 Actual total compensation is commensurate with experience, skills, and education.
