Unarmed Security Personnel

If you are looking for a standard security job where you are just sitting on patrol, this is not the job for you. Our assignments require active attention, walking, standing for the majority or entirety of the shift, staying mentally sharp and alert, and being hospitable.

This is a standing unarmed job. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises, enforce rules and boundaries, assist the client in any security needs, be able to be a presence when needed, and also have the ability to be discreet. Someone who has the ability to keep a cool head, be trustworthy, be friendly, and have the ability to work both independently and on a team.

Shift info:

• Shift options from: Weekday swing/graveyard & Saturday/Sunday 24 hours

Responsibilities:

• Enforce safety and security rules and regulations.
• Work with a team to identify building security risks.
• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors.
• Watch for suspicious persons or activities.
• Enforce rules for alcohol boundaries, parking lots, etc.
• Will verbally de-escalate situations to ensure the safety of fellow employees, customers and clients.

Requirements:

• Must be physically capable to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
• Move or lift objects up to 100 lbs.
• Must be capable of climbing steps repeatedly, squatting, kneeling, etc.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications (guard card or willing to obtain guard card is a must)
• Must be able to stay awake on shift
• Must be able to not be on your phone

Qualifications:

Our most successful guards come from many backgrounds. Some have no security experience when hired, and some have a decade worth of experience. Here, it's not about your years of experience, but about how well you work with our team, your integrity, drive, and your ability to learn and grow.

• Previous experience in military, sports, security, law enforcement, or other related fields a plus
• Background in wrestling, mma, judo, jujitsu, or other craft a plus.

**Pay range noted is accurate based on assignment and certifications needed for position, no bait and switch, no games.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
