Rover Team Member - $20.00 Per Hour
We currently have five shifts available:
- Sat-Mon 5am-3pm Tuesday 7am-5pm (Phoenix)
Job Summary:
In addition to the duties of an Unarmed Security Guard, the Rover Team Member is responsible for providing temporary security coverage at various sites and mobile patrols throughout his/her assigned area (city) and shift. Such coverage includes but is not limited to; a temporary or short‐term contract, vacation coverage, call‐off or no show, late arrivals, or to fill in until a permanent Security Guard has been hired. The Rover Auxiliary Team Member must possess the skillset to be able to work at multiple sites, under various working conditions. The Rover Auxiliary Team Member will report to their designated location where they will pick up a company vehicle. Each Rover Auxiliary Team Member will have access to a company provided vehicle to provide transportation to and from each job assignment or help with a patrol route. Assignments will vary based on scheduling needs.
General Responsibilities:
Rover Team will:
- report to the designated dispatch location for vehicle pick-up.
- clock-in and check the assignment phone for their duties.
- retrieve the keys for the assigned vehicle from the lockbox.
- will receive shift responsibilities via the assignment phone.
- be flexible as some shifts will require to arrive early and stay late while coverage is obtained.
- be required to work any site or patrol route that is needed during their scheduled shift. Refusal to work at any site could result in corrective action unless special circumstances prohibit them from being scheduled.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Must not use illegal drugs. Must submit to a drug test at time of hire and randomly throughout employment.
- Must be willing to undergo a significant amount of training in order to be able to work a variety of locations and patrol routes.
- Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment, and education verifications, as well as a Department of Motor Vehicle Report request and credit check (if applicable).
- Valid Driver’s Licenses.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
- Must complete all virtual and on‐the‐job job training as required by the position
- A minimum of 3 years of security experience
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Must adhere to Transcend Security Solutions Uniform and Grooming Policy
- Maintain, understand, and adhere to all standard operating procedures, post orders, emergency policies and regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
- Ability to conform to established procedures and to help identify and solve problems.
- Ability to conduct foot patrols and stand for long periods of time with reasonable accommodation where required, monitor site specific CCTV cameras.
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include and not limited to extreme temperatures, rain, and wind.
