Shift: Monday-Friday Mobile Patrol
Pay: $17.00 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol designated areas within the corporate facility on foot or by vehicle to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security threats.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security breaches or unusual activities promptly.
- Conduct thorough inspections of entrances, exits, and other access points to ensure they are secure and properly functioning.
- Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or evacuations, and take appropriate action as trained and instructed.
- Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, including incident reports, shift logs, and daily activity reports.
- Provide assistance and support to employees, visitors, and contractors as needed, including directing them to their destinations and providing information about corporate policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary to address security concerns or incidents effectively.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge related to security procedures, emergency response, and customer service.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations, as well as relevant laws and regulations governing security operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must possess a valid state-issued Security Officer license (SORA)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to quickly identify and respond to potential security threats.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, as well as lift or move objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the organization.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and professionalism in previous work experiences.
