Unarmed Security Officer

Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security services to ensure the safety and protection of personnel, property, and assets
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter and detect potential security threats
- Monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Conduct thorough inspections of bags, packages, and vehicles to prevent unauthorized items from entering the facility
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities

Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid armed Security Officer license or certification
- Previous experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or military service is highly preferred
- Proficient in conflict management techniques and able to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of first aid/CPR procedures is a plus
- Strong observation skills with the ability to quickly assess and respond to potential threats
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
