Unarmed Security Officer

Precision Security Team is a veteran owned and operated company in the northern Colorado area. We service areas from Denver, CO to Cheyenne, WY. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Officer at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct everyday.

You would work 7:00 am-5:00 pm 4 days a week between Monday through Friday for a total of 40 hours, days to be determined. Please do not apply if this schedule does not work with your availability.

This site has strict grooming standards. Security officers are expected to always be neat, clean, and well groomed and have a professional and conservative demeanor. Facial hair longer than 3/4 inches and facial piercings are not allowed. Hair longer than 6 inches below your shoulders must be secured. Stud earrings are only are allowed.

Working as a Security Officer in the city of Greeley requires that you obtain a Greeley Security Guard License. Individual would be required to obtain said Security Guard License immediately upon hire.

Duties and Responsibilities: The following are duties you may perform at your site. Duties include but are not limited to:

• interacting with clients, patrons, guests, partners, coworkers, and the public
• maintaining situational awareness at all times
• conducting foot patrols
• denying access to unauthorized personnel
• securing your site and preventing vandalism and theft
• screening and conducting metal detector wanding and bag checks to ensure no contraband is being brought to the site
• assisting with emergencies and building evacuations
• utilizing reporting systems and contacting appropriate parties for site situations
• maintaining confidentiality of all activities within your site
• utilizing verbal judo to de-escalate situations
• utilizing minimal use of force unless the individual poses an imminent physical danger to themselves, someone else, or you
• maintaining a professional and conservative demeanor at all times
• following SOPs at assigned site
• following, communicating, and enforcing local laws and regulations

Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time.

Pay: Starting base pay rate is $18.50/hour. This site pays $19.00/hour.

This is a W2 position. Employees working 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits.

Colorado/Wyoming is an at-will employment state.

Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

• able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
