Cardinal Point Homeland Security Group is seeking employees whose primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and protection of the students, teachers, and staff. This is a 10-month position, with optional summers off or part-time work at other sites.

Shifts:
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
This is a 10-month position, with 2 months off during the summer. Schedule includes regular school hours and occasional after-school and weekend events.onday-Friday
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Access Control
- Monitor CCTV
- Maintains orderly flow of foot traffic in the hallways
- Monitors restrooms throughout the day
- Reports maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel
- Patrol School facilities and grounds to prevent access to restricted areas, theft or vandalism
- First Responder for Emergencies
- Identify and report suspicious activity
- Incident Management
- Perform duties in uniform or plain clothes depending on the assignment
- Cultivate positive relationships with staff and students
- Must have at least 3 years of Security experience working in a school environment, or have experience as a Sworn Police Officer, military, or corrections officer
- Able to work well under pressure.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Consent to a drug screen and completing criminal background investigation.
- Consent to obtain required clearances for working in school.
- No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.
- Reliable means of communication (active cell phone with mobile email access)
- Ability to comprehend and utilize the English Language (verbal and written)
- Reliable means of transportation
- Must possess a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Prior experience as a Sworn Municipal, State or Federal Police Officer, Military MP, Military MA, Air Force Security Forces
- SSP Act 67 Certification
