Ultrasound Vascular Tech

This is a full time position working at Northwest Medical Center Houghton.
Summary:
Performs ultrasonic diagnostic tests for patients as ordered.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: Graduation from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Experience:
Required: One (1) year ultrasound scanning experience in abdominal, pelvic, small parts, obstetrics & gynecology and vascular ultrasound.
Skills:
Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Supervisors (ARDMS) and RVT certification. American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS or American Red Cross(ARC) for Healthcare Providers.
