Job Description:
- Ultrasound Technician performs Diagnostic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
- Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
- Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- ARDMS/CVT and/or ARRT-R Certifications is required.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
Knowledge/Skills:
- Previous experience as Ultrasound Tech preferred.
- MUST HAVE OB Experience
- Proficient computer skills.
- Charting system: EPIC
