Duties:
- Perform ultrasound scans on patients needing vein treatment
- Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images of the designated area.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the scanning process.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and results obtained.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Certification or registration as an Ultrasonographer.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and performing various types of scans.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ultrasound imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing scans and interpreting images.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
