Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions.
- Analyze technical information, evaluate images for quality, and communicate findings to the medical team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
- Maintain patient records, documenting procedures, results, and other relevant information.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification.
- State licensure as required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Proficient in the use and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
