Ultrasound Technician

Townsen Memorial Imaging is looking for a full-time Ultrasound Technician for our Imaging Centers in Southwest/Bellaire area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate ultrasound equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients
• Ensure the procedure produces quality images and information for the health care professional to make an accurate diagnosis
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists, as needed, with vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Report to the appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that require immediate attention
• Conduct Ultrasound scans based on order and upload scanned images onto PACS system in timely manner
• Manage several patients and priorities and be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a reliable transportation for traveling if necessary
• Flexible scheduling may be required to meet company needs
• Certificate or diploma from an accredited school of Sonographic Technology
• High School diploma or its equivalent

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Monday-Friday
• Dayshift
• Must float between our Spring and Humble locations
