Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of the specified body parts or systems.
- Analyze images and data to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasonographer.
- Proficient in performing a variety of general sonography studies. ie: abdominal, thyroid, pelvic/transvaginal, OB, carotid arteries, scrotal, venous and arterial studies.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately identify structures during scans.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and equipment.
**Some Saturdays needed**
Pay: Up to $600.00 per day
