Job Description:
As a UltrasoundTech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic Ultrasoundprocedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating Ultrasoundequipment to obtain diagnostic images of the patient's body
- Positioning patients correctly and providing clear instructions to ensure quality images
- Administering contrast agents as required and monitoring patients during procedures
- Evaluating images for quality and ensuring accurate documentation of results
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care
- Adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid ARDMS
- Certification in Ultrasound
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent UltrasoundTech experience
- Proficiency in operating general Ultrasoundequipment and related software
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and work independently
