TREASURY PLANNING&CAPITAL TECH

 

We deliver the technology products used to size and manage the firm's liquidity, unsecured funding and capital resources. This includes intraday liquidity and cash management; calculation, forecasting and stress testing of liquidity and capital measures; resolution planning; budgeting and financial planning including forecasting of revenue, expenses and balance sheet; accessing unsecured funding markets; and delivering firmwide management reporting and analytics. Our key internal clients include Treasury, Capital Planning, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Cash Management Operations, Global Corporate Controllers (GCC) and the ISG, Wealth Management and Investment Management Finance Teams.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced UI developer to join the TPC department. The team is a global team with members in New York, Bengaluru and Mumbai and clients in North America.

 

The development team is responsible for the development of the new application using Java and Angular. The new application will be used for reporting and analytics as well as for financial planning activities.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire SDLC, have excellent communication skills and experience working directly with the business. They will need to be self-sufficient and comfortable with building internal networks, both with the business and other technology teams.

 

They will be expected to own changes all the way from inception to deployment in production. In addition to implementing new functionality they will use their experience in TDD and best practices to identify process gaps or areas for improvement with a constant focus on scalability and stability.

 

Candidate should be self-motivated, results oriented and able to multi-task across with different teams and applications. Further the candidate will need to work effectively with remotely dispersed teams as the role will require constant communication across various regional teams.

 

Required Skills:

 

-        5-9 years of experience in developing application using Java or Python technologies

-        Should have experience in using Typscript, Javascript and Angular

-        Should have experience in test tools like Junit, jbehave, concordian etc.

-        Working knowledge of bitbucket, git, Jenkins.

-        Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies with a track record of high quality deliverables

-        Good communication skills and experience working with global teams

 

Desired Skills:

 

- Agile Methodology

- Knowledge of RDBMS database like DB2, Sybase etc

- Self-motivated, be able to work independently as well as being a team player

- Strong client service focus and willingness to respond to queries and provide      

  deliverables within prompt time-frames.

 

 

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment.  However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
