JOB SUMMARY

The TVTCC Manager is accountable for the operational management and care delivery of the Rural Health Clinic and affiliated specialty clinics, as well as the human resource, quality, and financial management of the clinic.  This manager works with the Medical Director and clinical leadership team in the implementation of plans and policies and adherence to the standards of the clinic area. 

The Manager assists with evaluation and reports relevant to achievement of goals and provides oversight to ensure area care delivery, quality management, and staff utilization patterns are appropriate.  The Manager has the authority to make operational and human resource decisions relevant to his/her assigned unit consistent with Hospital policies and practices. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS    

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.

Experience: Previous Outpatient Multi-specialty clinic management preferred. Experience in recruitment/retention, rural health clinic billing, office programs, and insurance preferred.

Licensure/Certification: CPPM Certification preferred.

Competency: Knowledge and Skills

Must have knowledge of recruitment and retention of clinical and non-clinical staff.  Knowledge of computer billing and office programs, financial planning, and Medicare/Medicaid/Managed care programs.  Oral and written communication is essential as the Clinic Manager will interact with other departments of the hospital and physicians. Knowledge of Rural Health Clinic compliance and billing preferred. Knowledge of population health and pay for performance programs is preferred.

Performs Other Duties as Assigned:

Attends mandatory in-services, staff meetings, and actively participates in self-education. Completes all required competency assessments on time.
