StudentNest is looking for local individuals interested in providing youth academic tutoring services.
Additional job training will be provided.
Bilingual candidates will be preferred (English and Spanish)
Pay Rate: $20-$22 Hour, based on experience
Schedule; Mon-Sat. 8:00 am - 5:00 PM. Average 35-40 hours per week
Work location (In-person)
“Health Benefits are available for qualifying employees the first of the month after sixty (60) days of employment.”
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. (Minimum of 40 college credits)
- Must be 21 or over
- Minimumof1 year of experience working with students.
- All candidates must be able to pass a skill-level test.
- Able to pass FBI/DOJ Live Scan and TB test.
- Reliable Transportation.
- Competence in Math and English for Grades 8th -12th.
- Must be well organized and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to conduct tutoring sessions for middle to high school-aged students in Math and ELA.
- Able to track all student’s daily attendance and progress to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong Work Ethics.
