Turnaround Project Controls Engineer

Our client, a major company in the energy sector, is seeking a Turnaround Project Controls Engineer to work within their facilities located in Rosemount, MN, for an initial 6-month contract.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.




• Perform performance monitoring and control functions for specific applications, including the consistent use of applicable procedures.




• Provide financial reporting and trending data.




• Conduct cost estimating, cost analysis, cost assessment, schedule analysis, planning, and risk assessment.




• Consider project timelines when forecasting project progress.




• Analyze potential obstacles or risks that the team may encounter and use this information to create a schedule that accounts for potential deviations from the timeline.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of Project Controls experience.




• Experience providing project control services for Turnarounds.




• Experience using EcoSys and Power BI is preferable.




• Bachelor’s degree.




• Self-starter with positive client reviews and the ability to start effectively from day one
