Our Tubes and Hoses Fabrication and Shop Utility Associate is primarily responsible for operating the Tubes and Hoses department from intake through Fabrication and then invoicing as well as support of the heavy-duty repair shop with general operations, parts management, inventory, parts pick-ups and deliveries, and housekeeping. No nights or weekends, competitive hourly pay, drug-free workplace, and safe working conditions.
- Pay: Hourly, based on experience and qualifications
- Type: Full-Time, 40hrs per week
- Shift: Weekday, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support a safety-first culture, SAFETY IS NO ACCIDENT
- Positively, professionally, and effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, team members, and management
- Operation of Tubes and Hoses Department including:
- Intake of customer information, specifications, and existing
- Fabrication of industrial tubes, hoses, and lines by means of cutting, bending, griding, welding, and brazing
- Bending U-bolts
- Support of heavy-duty truck repair shop parts management, inventory, and general operations
- Answer phone calls, assist callers, direct calls, and take messages
- Greet customers in showroom and assist or direct as appropriate
- Responsible for timely and accurate receipt of inbound inventory
- Responsible for timely and accurate fulfillment of customer and inter-branch orders
- Parts inventory management including:
- Stock order receiving and put away
- Daily cycle counts
- Maintain inventory areas
- Pulling and staging parts for customer pick up and technicians
- Utilize a sit-down forklift for receiving, put-away, and picking of inventory items
- Create, manage, finalize, and receive vendor purchase orders in shop management software
- Create and invoice parts orders in shop management software
- Become proficient with computer applications (shop management software, email, documents, web sites)
- Assist with merchandising and stocking the showroom
- General facility housekeeping (interior and exterior)
- Occasionally drive a company owned half-ton pick up truck (F-150 or similar) for pick up and delivery of truck parts to and from suppliers and customers
- Assist with company vehicle light maintenance
Qualifications
- Previous experience is a plus but not required and training will be provided
- Ability to lift and manipulate materials and packages up to 50lbs
- Ability and willingness to operate or learn to operate equipment such as
- Ability to read and interpret orders and packing list documents
- Average PC skills for email, documents, and internet navigation

- Valid Driver’s License with Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Report as Required by TSI Insurance (Required)
