As a Truck Supervisor at Gel Recycling facility, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating the transportation and logistics or recycling materials. This role involves managing a team of truck drivers, ensuring the efficient operation of the transportation fleet, and collaborating with other departments to optimize Gel Recycling process.
Fleet Management:
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the truck fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and routing.
· Ensure all trucks are properly maintained, service and compliant with safety regulations.
Team Leadership:
· Supervise and lead a team of truck drivers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
· Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and safety protocols.
Route planning:
· Collaborate with Dispatch and production teams to plan efficient routes for material transportation.
· Optimize routes to minimize fuel consumption, reduce transit times, and enhance overall efficiency.
Compliance and Regulations:
· Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, including weight limits, hours of service, and safety standards.
Safety oversight:
· Enforce and promote a strong safety culture among truck drivers and Dispatch staff.
· Conduct regular safety training sessions and inspections.
Maintenance Coordination:
· Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule routine maintenance and repairs for the truck fleet.
· Address any immediate maintenance needs and ensure minimal downtime.
Emergency Response:
· Develop and implement emergency response procedures for transportation incidents.
Coordinate with relevant teams in case of accidents, breakdowns, or other emergencies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
