Job Summary:
American Insulated Glass is a leading glass fabricator and wholesale distributor, specializing in providing high-quality insulated, laminated, tempered, fire-rated, and beveled glass products to glazing contractors and window manufacturers. Dedicated to serving both commercial and residential end markets, AIG also distributes a full line of float glass, mirror, and decoration glass solutions.
We are seeking hard-working, reliable, and punctual Truck Loaders to join our growing operation. We prize speed and accuracy above all else, so we require a warehouse associate who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check their work before completing a task.

Key responsibilities & duties:
- Maintain a safety-first work environment, utilizing proactive safety and ensuring all associates adhere to personal protective gear requirements and standard operating procedures.
- Handling, measuring, moving and lifting of glass for loading
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using other equipment throughout the warehouse as directed by management.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Load all route vehicles in accordance with load sheets
- Sort materials before loading and unloading.
- Ensure damaged product is placed in its proper area and reported to management
- Attach identifying tags to product or mark them with identifying information.
- Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
- Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Require Skills/ Abilities:
- Knowledge of and ability to follow all health, and safety, quality, and labor standards applying to his /her area of responsibility.
- Must have the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
- Able to read a tape measure and match the correct label with the correct lite of glass.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing preferred but not necessary
- High School diploma preferred but not necessary

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
- Must be able to work in hot or cold temperatures.
- Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, stand, sit, lift, push, and pull repetitively and/or throughout the duration of the shift.
- Steel toe boots required (not company provided).
