The Junkluggers is an eco-friendly alternative to conventional junk removal, providing sustainable disposal services for homes and businesses. Our friendly, professionally trained, licensed, and insured employees specialize in removing, recycling, or donating unwanted residential, commercial, and industrial items. We partner with local charities to ensure that as many of the items as possible find a new home.

Job Title
Truck Leader / Driver / Mover / Laborer
Key Aspects of the Role
Leadership: Responsible for keeping a team of movers accountable
Logistics: Responsible for the fulfillment of all jobs on the schedule and scheduling of same day bookings
Sales: Customer-facing role involving estimating jobs and maximizing job value
Opportunity: Potential to grow with the business into larger roles, such as Operations Manager or Dispatcher
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer service is the most important aspect of this role: Interact with customers and sell the service when on site
- Safely load, transport, and unload customer items in accordance with state and local laws
- Train new hires for subordinate roles
- Ensure all trucks and equipment are accounted for and in good working order
- Ensure all decisions made are in the company’s best interest
- Adhere to the company’s eco-friendly mission by donating and recycling whenever possible
Must Have Competencies:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong verbal communication skills--bilingual a plus
- Working knowledge of truck operation, care, and general maintenance
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license with a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
- Comfortable with technology (e.g., tablets, apps, GPS, etc.)
- Working smartphone
