Nestle in Springville, UT manufactures Stouffer's Frozen Meals.  We are currently hiring for the Truck Gate Operator position. Opening is available on 2nd shift.  Shifts are 8 hrs Monday thru Friday.

Job Description: Processes trucks using the PINC software system and processing of paperwork (packing slips, bill of ladings, etc.) for both inbound and outbound finished & raw materials.  

Primary Responsibilities: 

1.    Check in and check out all carriers in the PINC software system to deliver or pick up freight.
2.    Keys out and prints Bills of Lading, and signs out drivers when complete.
3.    Verifies seal matches paperwork and places seal all "live load" trailers before leaving Nestle property to ensure the security of Nestle product
4.    Verifies seal with paperwork on all spotted outbound trailers.
5.    For all live inbounds, Truck Gate will cut the seal on the trailer.  For all spotted inbound trailers, the P&D spotting will cut the seals.
6.    Trains all Truck Gate security guards on the PINC system.      
7.    Communicate with spotters using radio.
8.    Communicate with shipping & receiving office by phone.
9.    Works with Security guards to check drivers in and out of property within 3 minutes of arrival.
10.    Monitor "Yard Situation" in PINC daily to clear up all trailers with issues.
11.    Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

1.        Understand verbal and written instructions in English.
2.    Must observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and USDA policies.
3.    Must have legible handwriting.
4.    Must be able to efficiently operate a personal computer.
5.    Must be able to communicate verbally.
6.    Communicate effectively with various support groups, supervisors, and team members.
7.    Develop and prepare necessary reports, and maintain daily documentation.
8.    Must be able to evacuate an area quickly in an emergency.
9.    Maintain a high level of professional and organizational ethics and image.
10.    Operate data entry equipment.
11.    Able to read, interpret and analyze computer generated reports.
12.    Able to operate 10-key calculator, typewriter, CRT, console telephone, copy machine, etc.
13.    Perform all tasks with extreme accuracy.
14.    Must be able to climb and descend stairs 6 to 8 times during the shift.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 
1.     Perferred 1 year working experience using office computer terminals or networked PC's as primary responsibility.  Must be able to utilize multiple systems simultaneously.
3.      Proficent 10-key operation by touch, with accurate skills.  
5.      Must posses excellent organizing, planning and decision making skills and have the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at the same time.
6.    Preferred raw goods and finished goods clerical experience preferred.

90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestle factory preferred
