We’re hiring a reliable, experienced, Truck Gate Flex On Call Security Officer! The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for Truck drivers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures. This position requires a high level of availability and responsiveness, as the officer will be called upon to provide security services on an as-needed basis.

Shifts include: Open availability is required for this position.

Hourly starting wage: $19/hour

*Must have a valid guard license in order to qualify for the $200 sign on bonus. First $100 will be rewarded after you have been employeed with us for 30 days the other $100 will be rewarded after the 60 days.*

Responsibilities:

Prosegur is currentlyhiring Truck Gate Flex Security Officers help to maintain accuracy of the guests/visitors/clients coming into and leaving the facility. Please see the responsibilities listed below:

• Logging inbound and outbound trucks, control/limit access to the facility at entry point to include visitor sign in/out logs, issue identification badges, etc.
• Capable of walking to and from guard shack to trucks/be very agile
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time when required.
• Able to use a keyboard to correctly input information accurately and efficiently into software programs.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including the proper use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Patrol the interior/exterior of the property on foot.
• Monitor and be able to respond to emergencies to include medical, fire and weather-related situations.
• Be able to remain awake, alert, and attentive while on duty.
• Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities alone and often simultaneously.
• Be able to follow verbal and written directions from client personnel and Prosegur Supervisory/Management personnel.
• Answer, screen and route phone calls to the appropriate parties.
• Be courteous, polite, and professional in dealing with our customers, and their employees, visitors and vendors.
• Be able to perform other security related duties as assigned.
• Present a neat and well-groomed appearance.

Qualifications:

• At least 1-year prior Truck Gate Security Officer experience
• At least 1-year Gate house officer experience
• At least 1 year of Customer Service Experience
• Computer Savvy
• Must have good time management.
• Must be punctual.
• Must be able to multi-task.
