Truck Driver/Forklift Operator

Position: Driver- Tractor/Trailer

Location: Candler, NC

Pay: $25.64 hourly

Shift: First- 6:00AM-2:00PM. Monday –Friday. Occasional overtime is required

Current Class A CDL License Required!

As our Truck Driver you will be performing basic functions associated with safely driving and maneuvering a tractor as well as moving trailers and operating a forklift.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely and efficiently deliver or pick up material, product machinery, etc., as assigned.
• Manually push, pull and lifting equipment and materials as needed.
• Knowledge of DOT, Company, State and Federal laws regarding the safe operation of vehicles assigned.
• Must be able to identify different grades of incoming materials.
• This position has 2 different processes: Some customers require normal trailer swap outs, some require using a forklift to load your own trailer with bales to be brought back to the warehouse and unloaded.

We'd Love to Hear from You If:

• You possess a CDL as it is required!
• Have at least five years of driving experience
• You have manufacturing experience
• You must have a “get it done” attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously as needed
• Reliable, having good initiative, committed, and quality focused
• Able to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 49 lbs. as needed
• Able to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to success
• Posses the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
