Road Runner Transport Group LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced Class A Over-the-Road Owner OperatorTruck Drivers to join our team. As an integral part of our transportation network, you will play a crucial role in delivering goods across long distances with efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and drive assigned Class A commercial vehicles over long distances in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
2. Transport goods and materials to and from designated locations within specified timeframes.
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Secure cargo for transport using approved methods, including strapping, chaining, and tarping as necessary.
5. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information as required.
6. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards while on the road and at customer locations.
7. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
8. Represent Road Runner Transport Group LLC in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Requirements:

1. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
2. Minimum of 6 months of experience operating commercial vehicles.
3. Familiarity with refrigerated transportation equipment (reefers).
4. Proven track record of safe driving practices and adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
5. Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug/alcohol screening.
6. Excellent time management and organizational abilities to meet delivery deadlines and maintain schedules.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
8. Own or have access to a reliable and well-maintained tractor-trailer unit meeting company standards.
9. Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the integrity of delivered goods.
