Duties:
- Safely operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and routes.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated.
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver, preferably with experience in operating tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or other specialized trucks. Minimum of 2 years.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations pertaining to truck driving.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with dispatchers and team members.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on the truck as needed.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and loading/unloading.
