Responsibilities:
- Operate company-owned trucks that are over 4 tons in order to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
- Local delivery in the shipping and receiving of limestone, ash, coke and/or coal.
- Must be able to perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Prepare and maintain vehicle records and reports.
- Maintain and protect all company property in excellent condition.
- Abide by all plant operating policies and procedures.
- Follow all trucking safety practices and procedures.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as roll-off trucks or dump trucks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Physical strength and stamina to load and unload cargo
Note: Experience operating a forklift is a plus.
