Truck Driver

The Driver under general supervision, transports tanker trucks locally between vendors and our Richland facility and then offloads at our location. A successful applicant will be responsible for working safely and efficiently as possible in our continuous operation laboratory.

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

· Collect and deliver raw potato starch slurry from potato processing facilities in truck/tanker in Oregon/Washington.

· Safe loading/unloading of slurry.

· Adhere to all CDL requirements and statutes.

· Adhere to all roadway laws and regulations.

· Testing of product for baume/ph & fiber test.

· Ensuring equipment is pre/post trip checked daily.

· Recording of miles traveled during shift.

· Fuel equipment, as needed.

· Perform scheduled monthly training by the due date.

· Perform monthly cleaning and maintenance of equipment.

· Ability to drive in all types of weather.

Qualified candidates will have:

Position type and expected work hours: Associate, Workdays: Friday through Tuesday. Hours: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Education and experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Current CDL with tanker endorsement.

· 2 years driving of CMV and 1 year tanker experience
