Truck Dispatcher

```Job Overview:```
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and ensuring timely delivery. You will be responsible for communicating with drivers, analyzing routes, and utilizing various systems to optimize transportation operations.

```Responsibilities:```
- Communicate with drivers to assign routes and provide necessary instructions
- Utilize our own TMS system to track shipments and update information
- Coordinate and input orders in computer system for the transportation of materials.
- Assist drivers so that they may arrive to jobs timely and ensure completed delivery.
- Monitor and track deliveries using GPS and transportation management systems

- Monitor and communicate with others, to assist team to make informed decisions to optimize routing loads efficiently.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and suppliers to provide status updates.
- Handle any issues or delays that may arise with deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of fleet management and logistics operations.
- Experience in using GPS and transportation management systems.
- Experience with data entry and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to learn to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.47 - $25.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
