We are currently looking for one stand out leader to operate as a team lead out of our brand new specially built junk removal truck. Our team leaders goal each day is to WOW each customer by providing a high quality same day pickup and removal service.
As a Truck Team Lead you will be the first point of contact for customers on the job site. As the point of contact you will be expected to represent the company with happy and outgoing personality. You will be expected to go out of your way to be friendly to everyone you come int contact with. Especially our clients!
Essential Duties:
- Operate our vehicles in a safe and controlled manner at all times while navigating to and from each customer appointment.
- Provide customers with clear and concise guidelines on company pricing and services
- Lead crew members on job sites when removing customer unwanted goods
- Make sure that company assets and materials are all inspected and accounted for each day.
- Meet company goals and exceed performance expectations
- Be an example to other team members and ensure that everyone is treated fairly and supported in order to ensure success.
- Help with new hire training to ensure that our customers are getting the best and highest quality customer experience possible.
- Must be detail oriented and accountable so that unnecessary mistakes are not made. ( Proper lifting to prevent injuries, good customer service, safely handling equipment, ensuring all materials are accounted for, etc…)
- Must have good communication with team and supervisors to ensure that all jobs are completed timely and accurately.
- Must be willing to make sales calls and conduct marketing calls. This may include posting signs around the local community, placing door hangers, or making introductions to local businesses.
- Must be able to operate in a fast paced work environment. Our employees rarely see the same thing twice.
- Must be on time and in uniform each day
- Must be able to self manage and work with limited supervision.
Will be required to Identify items that can be repurposed, resold, donated, and recycled for proper disposal.
Qualifications:
- Proficient with Navigational software applications and Scheduling Tools
- Must have a clean Motor vehicle report and have the ability to operate a non CDL commercial vehicle.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Bilingual is a plus
- Must be willing to work in all environments (rain, heat, indoor, outdoor)
- Must be flexible and willing to work a changing schedule for the initial training period
- Must have availability on the weekend and certain holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test
- Must have be eligible to work in the U.S.
Benefits:
Hourly Rate between $15-25 per hour depending on experience and performance
Employees will keep 100% of tips each customer offers for jobs
Hourly plus tips employees make between $40-50k plus annually
