DME Technician
Aegis Health Care is hiring Healthcare Heroes!
Aegis Health Care is currently seeking a compassionate and detail oriented DME Technician for Triton Supply that has a passion for providing outstanding services to the elderly in Senior Living Communities and in-home health settings. This position is full-time and serves the communities in the Anchorage area.
Each DME Technician for Triton Supply is an important part of the Aegis Health Care team. Aegis specializes in providing care for home health and hospice patients in home settings and in senior living communities. As a DME (durable medical equipment) Technician you will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of medical equipment and soft supplies to our patients. Because of our shared commitment to service excellence, passion, and uncompromising desire to serve this industry, we are experiencing tremendous growth. With steady growth comes opportunity for advancement and the possibility of overseeing and managing a warehouse. No experience is required, and we will train the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Determine or obtain best daily route, assemble, and deliver all needed equipment; educate patient and family on how to properly use equipment
  • Ensure stock levels are appropriate and warehouse and delivery vehicles are organized and clean
  • Work with patients/clients to solve a variety of problems
  • Complete delivery and pickup process promptly and accurately
  • Assist in cleaning, disinfecting, and with minor repair of equipment
  • Maintain a neat, clean personal appearance
  • Take "on call" time on a predetermined, rotating basis during weeknights and weekends
  • Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when working with clients
  • Accept other duties and activities as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • We are a 24/7 operation, with predetermined, rotating on call schedule
  • Valid Driver's license, clean driving record and reliable automobile
  • Proof of current automobile insurance
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a daily basis
  • Criminal background check clearance/fingerprint clearance
  • Negative TB test
