We are currently hiring a Trinity Product Developer and Field Representative!
The Trinity Product Developer and Field Rep will be responsible for the product development and Field representation of the Trinity brand, with the goal of delivering high quality, innovative race-level products on time, within budget, and within scope and providing world class field support.
The Trinity Product Developer and Field Rep will report directly to the Program Manager –Accessories.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support assigned races with in-person product support and be responsible for marketing presence.
- Provide Team Trinity Drivers with expert level assistance with race product.
- Help generate new product ideas and innovations leveraging market research, industry knowledge, OEM teams, and driver feedback.
- Will own assigned products from end-to-end; maintaining and monitoring all aspects including financials, sales trends, marketing efforts, product quality, etc. after development is complete.
- Manage initial project creation and changes to the scope, schedule, and costs with a high degree of accuracy though out the development phases leveraging business tools.
- Report to management weekly through weekly reports – escalate early and often.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (requirements, specifications, docs, schedules)
- Market comparison – maintain competitive knowledge around features and pricing.
- Maintain accurate portfolio view with key points of business data.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Ensure Product fit and compatibility with current and future family of products.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks – apply lessons learned from past projects.
- Successfully manage the relationship with all departments – cross functional management
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Travel to Asia, events, and trade shows will be required as necessary.
Education and/or Experience
- Expert knowledge of radio control racing and track record of winning
- A degree, preferably in the field of Business Administration, Engineering or related, is a plus; not required.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven work experience in product management and project management, preferably in the Electronics Manufacturing, and Electromechanical Assembly sector(s) is a plus.
- 5+ years hands-on manufacturing experience, and a solid technical background with understanding of electro-mechanical assembly and/or manufacturing a plus
- Solid planning and organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Work Front, Microsoft Office Project 2010 or better; Microsoft Office suite, Oracle, Solidworks are all pluses.
- Must be a self-starter, motivated, takes initiative.
