Job Duties: This is a fast-paced position with a lot of public contact. This position involves responsible and varied clerical work receiving and processing cases; filling, recording, and imaging pleadings; issuing process as required and maintaining permanent court files. Work includes providing information and assistance to judges, attorneys, law enforcement agencies and other government agencies, and the public by phone and in person. This incumbent will also be responsible for performing other relate work as required or assigned.
Required education and experience: Graduation from high school diploma or equivalency and 6-months experience in clerical work is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of modern office management practices and procedures. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Skills in the operating of office equipment. Ability to understand court procedures and policies. Must be able to work with some degree of independence and responsibility. Maintain confidentiality. Must have good customer services skills.
