Fairway, in Bessemer, AL., is seeking a Tree-Shrub Technician who enjoys working with customers to diagnose and treat a variety of plant problems to improve the life and appearance of the customer’s landscape. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for plant-health, enjoys educating and solving customer problems, and excels in working independently.
This starting pay for this position is $20.00 per hour, including an average monthly bonus and quarterly team bonus.
Experience is a plus but not required; if you are motivated, hardworking, and willing to learn we will teach you the skills you need to excel in this role. If you have prior experience in Landscaping, Maintenance, Construction, General Laborer, or if you enjoy working outdoors, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:
- Provide unmatched customer service by communicating with the customer in a professional manner.
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement and be actively involved in solution identification and implementation.
- Use insecticides and fungicides to treat landscapes.
- Navigate sales with potential customers to grow your route.

What We Need from You:
- Background in pruning, planting, general horticulture preferred.
- Knowledge of insecticide and fungicides to treat plants preferred.
- Ability to work independently and display good time management.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, with or without any accommodation.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and through using technology
- Flexibility to work Saturday hours on an as-needed basis to meet production goals.
- Must have an acceptable Driving Record
- Background Check Required
- Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and D.O.T. Physical
