Tree Climber

• Must be able to climb trees proficiently and be able to demonstrate safe tree climbing skills and rigging techniques.
• Must have a minimum of one year full time tree climbing experience working for a commercial tree service company or completed formal tree climbing training from a credited training organization.
• Must have a current valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A CDL is preferred.
• Climber with own gear is preferred, however we can provide climbers with gear.
• Daily inspection of all personal climbing and safety equipment including ropes, saddle, PPE
• Perform pruning and tree removals in accordance with industry standards
• Assistance with lowering limbs, and complete clean-up
• Operation and basic maintenance of chain saws, blowers, and various hand tools in accordance with the standards and company policy
• Communication with clients and fellow crew members
• Perform other related duties as assigned

NECESSARY SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to work in a team environment where communication skills are essential
• Ability to perform strenuous manual work in all weather conditions
• Attention to detail is critical to maintain high quality of care
• Knowledge and execution of proper pruning per company standards
• Possess tree and plant identification skills
• Demonstrated climbing ability; Possess knowledge of climbing knots

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a valid License, ability to obtain CDL
• Overtime is available
• Legally authorized to work in the US

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Climbing: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
