Treater Operator-A and B Shift

Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring an A and B Shift Treater Operator (Skill Level D) at our Ridgeway, SC Location.

Schedule: 7a-7p- Rotating 2-2-3 schedule pattern

Skill Level:D

Compensation: $21.50-$23.75/hr

The Role:

The Treater Operator is responsible for the operation of the Treaters. This includes ensuring treated materials meet visual and quality criteria and maximizing machine uptime and yields.

Top Responsibilities

• Punctuality is essential to the job function and the attendance policy is strictly enforced
• Effectively/efficiently set up the Treater per established parameters (recipes/speed matrix) and other machine settings per specifications and guidelines during start-up, changeover and shutdown operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance that includes walking up multiple flights of stairs indoors in humid conditions.
• Make necessary adjustments to maintain and ensure both the physical and cosmetic performance of treated materials per established criteria.
• Maintain maximum machine uptime and product yields.
• Conduct and document all product tests required by product specification, including treated weight, scale flow, minimum viscosity/flow window, and volatile content.
• Respond to chemical spills and properly handle the disposal of hazardous waste.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Previous experience working with fiberglass, resin, and treating - highly preferred
• Ability to work while standing for up to 12 hours
• Ability to walk multiple flights of stairs indoors
• Ability to pass pulmonary function test. (Employees must refrain from having facial hair to comply with respirator PPE requirements)
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and Background check
